The Town of Tonasket will use this grant to build a BMX dirt track. The BMX track will have straight runs and mounds designed in a series of curves and banks. The project includes a drinking fountain, picnic tables, and bleachers for spectators.

From Olympia, Frwy 5 to Hwy 18, Hwy 18 to Frwy 2 , cross Columbia River , take Hwy 97 north to Tonasket. Project located adjacent to City at treatment plant.

The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
