This 10 acre acquisition creates a neighborhood park one mile north of Vancouver in the rapidly growing residential area of Hazel Dell. Future improvements include: picnic tables, pedestrian/bike trails, children's play equipment, and play meadows.

Take Highway 99 north from city of Vancouver to NE 88th Street. Travel east on 88th Street approximately 1 mile. The project site borders the north side of 88th Street between NE 30th and NE 32nd Avenue. (Park is located one house beyond intersection to the west.)

What is the WWRP?

The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
