The scope of this project is to acquire approximately 45 acres of the McLeary property, lying south of Sun Lakes State Park in Grant County. This parcel includes the rock outcrops at the lakes edge and will add approximately 1,500 feet of Park Lake waterfront to state ownership for future development of trails and access to the lake.

The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
