Site is located five miles northeast of Issaquah on the Sammamish Plateau. An acquisition of the development rights on an 184-acre wetland area provides a protective buffer between the habitat and open space areas and a residential development. The project also includes the fee simple acquisition of approximately 533 acres of wetlands and uplands.

What is the WWRP?

The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
