Acquisition of 119.5 acres of wetland/upland habitat adjacent to 837 acres of wetland/upland habitat currently owned by Snohomish County and managed by the Snohomish County Parks Department. The Snohomish River Estuary System is managed for wildlife habitat, passive recreation, and outdoor education purposes.

What is the WWRP?

The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
