Acquisition of property along the shoreline of Commencement Bay and Foss Waterway in Tacoma for public access. Project is part of Tacoma's work to establish public parks and access along Ruston Way. The path and parks are very popular, providing access for events such as fireworks displays on the Fourth of July.

What is the WWRP?
The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
