Acquisition of land adjacent to existing Riverside State Park and Spokane County properties along the Little Spokane River. Provides access to the river, as well as a variety of passive use areas along the river valley.
Location
Four miles northwest of Spokane. Beginning at the Waikiki Road Bridge, drive downstream on the Rutter Parkway to the other end at the SR 291 junction.

What is the WWRP?
The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
