Riverfront Recreation Center - Phase 2

This 72-acre regional facility is being developed in phases to provide both passive and active recreation opportunities. Phase 2 includes two youth baseball fields, accessible pathways, a scorekeeper's booth and a maintenance building. Once completed, this facility will draw tournament events of regional and state-wide significance; offering benefits to the community and local economy. Civic, business, government and youth organizations all support this project. Volunteers will provide most of the labor.
Location
To reach the project site, take Exit 49 from Interstate 5 and go west into dowtown Castle Rock on Huntington Avenue (SR 411). Turn right at ""A"" Street and cross the bridge over the Cowlitz River (SR411). Take a left on Mosier Road, which ends at the project site.

What is the WWRP?
The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
