Plantes Ferry Park Phase 1 Development

This project is a part of a phased development of a county regional park site located in the Spokane Valley, previously acquired with WWRP assistance in 1990. Elements include soccer and baseball/softball fields, trails, restrooms, children's playground, utilities, entry roads, grading, and irrigation. The project is supported by the Spokane Valley Junior Soccer Association. Future phases will develop a small craft launch and support facilities.

Location

Argonne road exit off of interstate 90, head North on Argonne to Upriver Drive. East on Upriver for 2.25 miles to Plantes Ferry Park Entrance. Site is located approximately 10 miles east of the City of Spokane.

What is the WWRP?

The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
