Pearrygin Lake Shoreline - Yockey Ph 3
- Status
- Funded in 2007
State Parks will use this grant to purchase 119 acres on the west shoreline of Pearrygin Lake in the 584-acre Pearrygin Lake State Park in the Methow Valley. The park features expansive green lawns leading to the lake. The land would be purchased to preserve the scenic views from the park and to develop a trail system around the lake. Acquisition also will prevent development of a subdivision currently platted along the shoreline.
Location
The project is located along the west and southwest shoreline of Pearrygin Lake, located one mile northeast of Winthrop, WA. From downtown Withrop, travel north on Riverside Drive, turn right on Bluff Street. After a short distance, Bluff Street becomes East Chewuch Road. From East Chewuck Road, turn right on to Bear Creek Road and follow signs to Lake Ridge Subdivision. The road to the subdivision is a single lane dirt road that is west of Pearrygin Lake and Silverline Campground.
