Pasco Softball Complex Lighting
- Status
- Funded in 2001
This project will significantly enhance a regional softball facility that serves two counties and seven communities. Lighting these fields will provide Pasco the opportunity to schedule at least 42 more softball games a week thus maximizing the use of one of the best designed softball facilities in the state. A high school, one college, and five recreation leagues representing over 140 teams wish to play their games at this site. The development of the six fields has been a partnership with the City in cooperation with Franklin County, Pasco High School, and Columbia Basin College. The playing field lights are the third and final phase of the park’s development, started in 1998.
Location
From Interstate 82 or US 395 take the I182 exit to Pasco. Take Exit 9 off I182 at Road 68, go north on Road 68 from the off ramp 1/4 mile, turn right at the light on Burden Blvd. Take the next right on Home Run Road into the complex parking lot.
