This development project offers a unique opportunity to link two major universities and their respective cities with an eight mile trail that protects and enhances wetlands and adjacent Paradise Creek. The project promotes conservation of resources while offering recreational experiences for bicycling, walking, jogging, in-line skating, and nature study.

Location

Take State Route 270 (Davis Way) headed east. Turn right onto Graham Avenue, go two blocks then turn left on Paradise Street; turn right onto Main Street, stay on Main for about 1/2 mile, then turn right on Bishop Blvd. Travel about 1/4 mile then turn left on Bleasner Drive. This segment of the trail begins about 25 feet away. It is connected to the existing Bill Chipman Trail.

What is the WWRP?

The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
