Clark County will use this grant to develop a 50-acre community park in the heavily developed residential areas of east Vancouver. The area includes eight neighborhoods, home to more than 30,000 people. Pacific Community Park, the only community park in the area, will be equipped with a skate park, basketball court, children's play equipment, benches, picnic tables and two shelters, more than 2 miles of trail, landscaping, and support facilities.

What is the WWRP?

The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
