Osprey Park Dev. Phase 2
- Status
- Funded in 1999
As a result of grass roots efforts started by local youth and sports enthusiasts, the City of Sultan, in northeast Snohomish county, is seeking WWRP assistance for the second phase of development at the city’s Osprey Park. Using earlier WWRP aid, Osprey Park was developed with a baseball field, soccer field, playground, and parking. This second phase will build the first lighted basketball court in the city, provide additional parking, and enhance the public access throughout the park. Other work includes a horseshoe court, landscaping, park furniture, and signing. This project has strong community support in Sultan and the surrounding communities, as demonstrated by a series of successful fundraising events.
Location
