This acquisition project acquires 6.8 acres of waterfront property for a community park in West Poulsbo. The site offers a significant opportunity to enhance shoreland and upland habitat areas. Improvements will include: aquatic with interpretive signs, areas for canoes and kayaks, a footpath connection around Liberty Bay, and areas for passive recreation.

Take the Finn Hill road exit off of Highway 3 ""north"". Turn right on Finn Hill Road and proceed down the hill, through the stoplight, and turn right into an unmarked driveway directly behind the ""JRO Insurance"" building. This driveway runs into the Nelson Property at 317 NW Lindvig Way.

What is the WWRP?

The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
