Multi-Site Acquisition

Acquisitions which provide public access to rivers, streams, and tidelands throughout the state. These sites allow for salmon fishing, shellfish harvesting, and general public access to the state's tidelands. Sites: North Bay, Dewatto, Saratoga Pass, and Penn Cove tidelands; Nemah River, Hoodsport, Anacortes, Icicle Creek, and Knappton.
What is the WWRP?
The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
