The recent sale of Rosario Resort on Orcas Island has made property available for purchase adjacent to the state park. This 63 acre acquisition on the west side of Cascade Lake lies south of the main park entrance and surrounding Rosario Lagoon. The project helps preserve views from Cascade Lake, retains the character of the park entrance, and secures the full lagoon shoreline for public recreational use.

In San Juan County, six miles southeast of Eastsound on Orcas Island.

What is the WWRP?
The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
