This project completes a 22 acre acquisition project which will enable the city to develop critically needed multipurpose athletic fields for community recreational use. The proposal will provide the only fields of sufficient size which can be used without interfering with other play areas. Development also adds restrooms, play equipment, picnic sites, and parking.

From the intersection of 7th Street, SR95, and Cedar Street, proceed northeast on Cedar Street 1/2 mile. McDonald Field is located just past the golf course.

What is the WWRP?

The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
