This project secures a two acre regional saltwater site with 500' of waterfront on the Puget Sound. The large open area is south of the Port of Edmonds. It provides a passive regional recreational use area for water access, car-top boaters, swimming, marine life / environmental programs, scuba diving, picnicking, and other shore related activities. The property is the last large open space water front parcel in Edmonds. It is the southern link of the waterfront public parks and walkway along the entire city shoreline. (

Location

From Interstate 5 (I-5) travel west on SR 104 exit to Edmonds. Turn west on Dayton Street which becomes Admiral Way as it turns south through the Port of Edmonds. The project site is south of the Port at the end of Admiral Way on the Puget Sound.

What is the WWRP?

The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
