The project described herein represents the final improvements required to complete Ph 1 of the development of Mack Lloyd Park into a major trailhead for the Methow Community Trail System. Elements include: 2 unisex restrooms to serve the ballfield. Removal of existing tennis courts and construction of 2 new tennis courts in expansion area. Pave park trails. Completion of existing interpretive trail. 1 picnic shelter & 1 river view shelter. Revegetation & transplanting of native plants in river area. Security lighting along pedestrian ways & parking areas. Installation of corral & hitching posts/rails in expansion area.

Located on the north shore of the Methow River near the Winthrop Barn Auditorium (SR#20) just upstream from the confluence of the Methow and Chewuch Rivers.

What is the WWRP?

The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
