Lake Goodwin Park

Formerly a resort, this project will re-establish historic access to the site's lake shoreline. Lake Goodwin Park is one of only two publicly-owned parks with lake access in the county's Seven Lakes area. This project will provide outdoor recreational opportunities for swimming, wading, fishing, picnicking, as well as water-related environmental education and interpretation. Developments include: a 58-stall parking area; designated bus parking zone; restroom building; children's play area; a 300-foot fishing and swimming area dock with shelter; 350 lineal feet of shoreline boardwalk; three picnic shelters; 1200 lineal feet of trails; and 300 lineal feet of swimming beach frontage. Universal access design criteria will be applied throughout the entire site development.
Location
From Interstate 5 north of Marysville, take Exit 208 (Lakewood/Arlington) and proceed west approximately five miles on Lakewood Road to the park site on the north shore of Lake Goodwin.

What is the WWRP?
The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
