This 12.1 acre acquisition includes 947' of waterfront on Lake Goodwin in northwest Snohomish County. This rare opportunity will allow the county to provide recreational facilities for swimming and wading, fishing, picnicking, and RV and tent camping. Acquisition of this site assists in addressing needs identified in the county's park and recreation plan.

Location

From Interstate 5 north of Marysville, take Exit 208 (Lakewood/Arlington) and proceed west approximately five miles on Lakewood Road to the proposed park site on the north end of Lake Goodwin.

The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
