This project involves the acquisition and development of a two mile pedestrian and bicycle trail on the west shore of Lacamas Lake and Creek in southeast Clark County. The trail connects to an existing eight mile trail system which extends south into 298-acre Lacamas Lake Regional Park and the Washougal River Greenway. This regional trail system will serve both the Camas and Vancouver urban areas, which have a combined service area population of over 200,000 residents. The trail corridor provides almost continuous waterfront access, and enhances a wide variety of recreation opportunities including fishing, picnicking, and wildlife observation.
