This proposal seeks WWRP assistance to acquire a key inholding in Grayland Beach State Park, south of Westport. Acquisition of 15 acres and ¼ mile of ocean front within the existing park boundary will provide the opportunity to plan for future park development including overnight camping facilities and beach and dune access trails. Elimination of visitor trespass on nearby private properties and more opportunities to meet public demand for ocean beach accesses and camping will also be provided.

What is the WWRP?

The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
