This is the final development phase of this popular riverside recreational area with its model barrier-free design for people with disabilities, their families, friends, and the general public. This phase constructs a campground and includes landscaping, play areas, restrooms, and parking.

Exit Hwy 12 at Devonshire Road, travel south to the left on Katon Road to the end of the county road (approximately 1.3 miles). The road becomes Friends Landing.

What is the WWRP?

The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
