The acquisition and development of this 2.5 mile multipurpose trail will connect this 180 acre park on the Columbia River with Vancouver Lake Park (234 acres). The trail also connects the Vancouver via the 12 mile Columbia River Renaissance Trail system. The project will serve a growing city and county population of 270,000.

Travel 3 miles west from downtown Vancouver on Fourth Plain/Lower River Road (SR501) to Vancouver Lake Park. Project extends from Vancouver Lake Park to Frenchman's Bar Park along the Vancouver Lake Flushing Channel.

What is the WWRP?

The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
