This project develops a lighted softball field with supporting parking, restrooms, and spectator furnishings. The project is the final field in a four field complex. The site lies in a major community park which includes a baseball stadium, multipurpose sports stadium, indoor swimming pool, trails, and walkways. The site was a top ranked priority improvement identified by the community.

Location

Take the Lakeway Ave. exit off northbound I-5. Turn left (east) on Lakeway. Proceed 1/4 mile and turn left on Orleans. Turn right in front of Civic Stadium and left on Puget Street. Geri4 field site is located approximately 1/8 mile north of Civic Stadium in the cleared area on the left. The Frank Geri Complex Fields 1-3 are immediately adjacent down the hill to the north.

What is the WWRP?

The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
