Evergreen Park Renovation - Phase 1

This renovation project gives Evergreen Park its first major face lift in 85 years. It currently has old, tired equipment and structures with limited recreational opportunities. Phase One improvements include: picnic shelters, basketball courts, sand volleyball court, expanded trail system new playground equipment, and increased access for individuals with disabilities. These features will increase park usage, enhance safety, and provide needed recreational elements.
Location
From the Bremerton Ferry Dock (located at 1st and Washington) proceed north on Washington Street past the Manette Bridge. Washington Street turns into 11th Ave. Proceed due west on 11th to Park Avenue. Turn north (right) on Park Avenue and proceed 3 blocks to Evergreen Park.

What is the WWRP?
The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
