East Slope Inholdings

Acquisition of 5,113 acres of range within three existing WDFW habitat areas in Klickitat, Kittitas, and Yakima Counties. The areas provide habitat to multiple species including mule deer, black-tailed deer, and Rocky Mountain elk. Consolidation of inholdings enhances manageability of facilities.
What is the WWRP?
The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
