Provides a link through Tukwila that connects with King County’s trail to the north and existing Tukwila and Kent trails to the south. Trail development includes a twelve-foot paved surface, soft shoulders for jogging, landscaping, and wildlife habitat enhancement.

Location

The five sections of trail included in this application are located between I-405 and 42nd Ave. South. This trail follows the Duwamish/Green River and a portion of Interurban Avenue south.

What is the WWRP?

The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
