- Pending Legislative Action
If this WWRP grant is funded, the Department of Fish and Wildlife will acquire and develop 5.9 acres of a 24.83 acre parcel on the Wenatchee River for boating and fishing access at the site of Dryden Dam. Development of the site will include a paved parking for thirty vehicles with boat trailers, 2 boat ramps (above and below Dryden Dam), a vault toilet, a 100 ft long by 8 ft high retaining wall and landscaping with native vegetation.
What is the WWRP?
The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
