Tosco Sports Complex, Phase I

This project will complete the first phase development at the Tosco Sports Complex. Two lighted ball fields and two soccer fields will be developed. An additional 150 parking spaces will also be provided. The need to develop sports fields has been a priority in Ferndale since the late 1980's as demand for facilities and population have increased. The provision of safe, quality athletic facilities remains the city’s highest priority. This project will allow increased opportunity for youth and adults to participate on safe, high quality recreation facilities, and provide improved habitat for wildlife through creation of ponds and plantings.

From I-5. Take Ferndale exit 262. Drive west on Main Street. Turn left on second Avenue and drive 3 blocks to the end of the street.

What is the WWRP?
The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
