Colville Swimming Pool
- Status
- Funded in 2001
Colville's municipal swimming pool was constructed in 1954 and has been in constant use since that time. The facility has been well maintained over the years but is starting to show signs of old age. A recent study conducted by an engineer and swimming pool consultant outlined a renovation and retrofit project that will substantially extend the life of the facility. The pool provides summer recreation opportunities for city and county residents of all ages. It is the only competition pool within a 45-mile radius. The local swim team holds its practices and home meets here. The community places a high value on this facility and this project will allow the city to maintain a level of service that has been in place for decades.
Location
The Colville Municipal pool is located in Yep Kanum Park. From Hwy 395 turn East on Dominion for three blocks.
