The City of Kent seeks to acquire 44 acres of land located adjacent to Clark Lake Park. This acquisition will allow the City to own almost all the area surrounding this passive recreation area, bringing the City's total ownership to 133 acres. The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
