The City of Kent seeks to acquire 44 acres of land located adjacent to Clark Lake Park. This acquisition will allow the City to own almost all the area surrounding this passive recreation area, bringing the City's total ownership to 133 acres. This park will become the focal point of the city’s park system and be adjacent to the new ""Town Center"" planned for the area. Kent will enhance this wetland/upland area and its surroundings to provide better water quality for the lake and create improved wildlife ha

The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
