Purchased approximately 10 acres of upland and 1.6 acres of tidelands along the abandoned Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul, and Pacific railroad right-of-way. Once developed, the Centennial Trail will combine with Port Angeles’ Waterfront Trail, making a 15 mile multiple-use trail opportunity available from Ediz Hook to Morse Creek.

What is the WWRP?

The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
