Centennial Trail Development Phase 2

- Funded in 1997
Snohomish County will develop 9 miles of county-owned trail extending north from Arlington to the Skagit County line. Parallel paved and soft surface trails will allow pedestrian, bicycle, and equestrian uses. The county currently manages 7 miles of this trail system for Snohomish to Lake Stevens, with the Lake Stevens to Arlington section currently under development. Once completed, the Centennial Trail will run from Snohomish to the Skagit County line.
Location
From the South: Take I-5 north to exit 208 (State Route 530). Turn right on SR 530 and travel eastbound approximately 3 miles to the City of Arlington. Turn left and travel northbound on State Route 9. The trail corridor is on the right about 1/3 mile north on SR 9 approaching the Highway 9 bridge across the Stilliguamish River.

What is the WWRP?
The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
