Cape D Bell's View Trail

State Parks will use this grant to build a .5-mile trail from the North Head Lighthouse area to the Bellevue Point Overlook, one of the most dramatic in all state parks. Difficult access will be improved so more of the public can enjoy this feature. Perched at the mouth of the Columbia River, Cape Disappointment State Park has 1,882 areas of heritage ecosystems, shorebird nesting habitat, coastal Sitka spruce forest, and rugged coastline.

What is the WWRP?
The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
