Phased acquisition of the former Cama Beach Resort, located one-half mile north of Camano Island State Park. The site offers the opportunity to create a major new state park, providing a full range of recreational activities including fishing, shellfish harvesting, camping, environmental learning centers, and day use. Significant private donations by the landowner assisted this project.
Location
Camano Island is accessed by a Highway 532 from Interstate 5 at Stanwood. Follow the highway west across a bridge onto Camano Island. Signs direct you to Camano Island State Park. The entrance to Cama Beach is located 3/4 mile north of Camano Island State Park.

What is the WWRP?
The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
