Phase 2 development at this site includes one Babe Ruth size baseball field, two softball/baseball fields, three practice fields, restrooms, and other amenities. The project will provide two dedicated fields for girls' youth, high school girls, and womens’ fastpitch softball. Construction will also provide a much needed second field for Babe Ruth teams, high school and college baseball. All teams will be able to use the practice fields. Future phases will include picnic areas, scenic walking paths and other park amenities. Ultimately, this $4.4 million complex will serve the entire region.

Location

From Olympia, follow SR12 to Aberdeen. Turn left and go over the Chehalis River Bridge, following the signs to SR105 and Westport. Follow SR105 for two miles. The complex is located on the right-hand side of the road, opposite of the Newskah Road.

What is the WWRP?

The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
