The site offers exceptional views of Beacon Rock, Hamilton Mountain, and the Columbia River. It will add parking for 60 cars, picnic sites, restroom facilities; extend the trail system, increase the content and number of interpretive displays, and provide covered picnic shelters.

Beacon Rock State Park is located in Skamania County in the Columbia River Gorge. It is 35 miles east of Vancouver, WA on Highway 14.

What is the WWRP?
The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
