This project in Skamania County will expand the initial day use facilities at Beacon Rock State Park, located on the Columbia River. The site offers exceptional views of Beacon Rock, Hamilton Mountain, and the Columbia River. It will add parking for 60 cars, picnic sites, restroom facilities; extend the trail system, increase the content and number of interpretive displays, and provide covered picnic shelters.

What is the WWRP?

The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
