Bald eagles perch in the tiny island's tallest trees, harbor seals haul out on the rocks off the island's west spit, harlequin ducks forage near shore, and the black oystercatcher prys limpet, chiton and other shellfish from the rocks at low tide. David Rolph, one of the Conservancy’s conservation directors, will take you from Anacortes in his 24-foot SeaSport with enclosed cabin. Lunch and snacks provided.
